City on a Hill Season 2
City on a Hill Season 2: Kevin Bacon teases his upcoming return to Boston

Like many series, City on a Hill saw its production cut short by the pandemic. His comeback has therefore been delayed and, with this first teaser, Showtime announcing that Season 2 will arrive in the spring.

If you're not familiar with this series, remember that City on a Hill takes us back to the 90s in Boston. Violence reigned in the city, maintained by law enforcement where corruption and racism were the norms, but that changed. Behind this change is District Attorney Decourcy Ward (Aldis Hodges), a man from Brooklyn who forms an unlikely alliance with Jackie Rhodes (Kevin Bacon), a corrupt FBI veteran who is nevertheless revered for his work and who is invested in maintaining a status quo. Together, they will take on a family of thieves in Charlestown who will grow until they turn the Boston justice system upside down (read our opinion on the first episodes).

As for Season 2, Showtime has yet to release any plot information. It has been announced that Leon Robinson (Oz) has joined the cast as Reverend Isaiah Hughes, while Matthew Del Negro will be regular as Detective Caysen who appeared in 4 episodes of Season 1.
