No doubt Gilmore Girls is popular on Netflix, the platform has gone so far as to commission a sequel to capitalize on this success. With this in mind, the streaming service wants to appeal to the same audience as Ginny & Georgia, a new family drama that arrives on February 24 and unveils today with a trailer.
The creation of Sarah Lampert, the series Ginny & Georgia, therefore, focuses on Ginny Miller, a slightly awkward teenager of 15 years, and her mother Georgia, 30 years. After years on the road, Georgia desperately wants to settle down in New England and give her family something she’s never had before: a normal life.
However, his dream is jeopardized when his past resurfaces and threatens his new life. And Georgia is ready to do anything to protect her family.
