After Tehran, AppleTV + offers another Israeli production with Losing Alice which is not a spy series, but a psychological thriller that can therefore be discovered on the platform as of this Friday, January 22, 2021.
Created by Sigal Avin, inspired by the legend of Faust, Losing Alice was introduced as a contemporary mini-series that mixes memories of the past and the present.
The story follows Alice (Ayelet Zurer), a 48-year-old director who feels no longer relevant since she started a family. After briefly meeting her on a train, Alice becomes obsessed with Sophie (Lihi Kornowski), a young 24-year-old screenwriter. She then embarks with her on a frantic race for success that could cost her moral integrity.
