Hannibal Season 4 is now a distant dream that won’t come true, but that doesn’t stop the universe Thomas Harris created from coming back to life in another TV series. This time, it’s on CBS that it’s happening with Clarice whose first season begins tonight on the American channel and arrives in France tomorrow on Salto.
Developed by Alex Kurtzman and Jenny Lumet, Clarice is not a new adaptation of Harris’ novel “The Silence of the Lambs”, but a sequel that is billed as a psychological thriller exploring what makes the famous character already in the movies work. by Jodie Foster and Julianne Moore.

The plot takes place in 1993, a year after the events recounted in the novel. We find Clarice Starling (Rebecca Breeds) returning to the field to hunt serial killers and predators of all kinds while navigating the political issues that go beyond her.
In terms of casting, this first season of Clarice revolves around Rebecca Breeds who is surrounded by Kal Penn, Nick Sandow, Michael Cudlitz, and Marnee Carpenter. Jayne Atkinson, Shawn Doyle, and Tim Guinee are announced recurring.
