After a two-year hiatus, in part due to production delays caused by the coronavirus, the most popular British series at the moment is set to make a comeback. BBC One has indeed announced the launch of Line of Duty season 6 for Sunday, March 21, and has posted a trailer.

As is the case in every season, we find the AC-12 team, namely Ted Hastings (Adrian Dunbar), DI Kate Fleming (Vicky McClure), and DS Steve Arnott (Martin Compston) thus ahead of s' deal with a new corruption case within the police. They are, within this season 6 of Line of Duty, joined by a recruit: DC Chloe Bishop (Shalom Brune-Franklin).

The team is therefore investigating DCI Joanne Davidson (Kelly Macdonald), chief investigator of an unsolved murder case whose behavior will attract the attention of the AC-12. It doesn't take long for the investigation to lead them to discover surprising information.

Consisting of 7 episodes, the distribution of this season 6 of Line of Duty thus brings together Adrian Dunbar, Vicky McClure, Martin Compston, Shalom Brune-Franklin, Kelly Macdonald.
