It’s been almost a year since New Amsterdam Season 2 came to its conclusion on NBC. The wait is finally over since the series is back with its season 3 which arrives tonight on the American channel.
Naturally, this season 3 of New Amsterdam will not avoid the crisis. Indeed, the pandemic is present in the series which will explore for the occasion the inequalities it has highlighted in the American medical system.
When Dr. Max Goodwin (Ryan Eggold) took over as head of the hospital, he was willing to help. An increasingly difficult task for him and his team who must maintain a healthy dose of optimism during a period that offers little opportunity to be. Faced with the mounting problems, Max will prove more determined than ever to bring down the whole system and replace it with a better one.

In the cast of this season 3 of New Amsterdam, Ryan Eggold will once again be surrounded by Janet Montgomery, Freema Agyeman, Jocko Sims, Tyler Labine, and Anupam Kher. Daniel Dae Kim (Lost, Hawaii 5-0) and Nadia Affolter (Jack Ryan) join the cast in recurring roles.
