The Equalizer season 2
The Equalizer Season 2

While the airing of its first season has paused for a few weeks, The Equalizer is still talking about it, since CBS has just announced that it has been officially renewed for a season 2.

Thus, after only 4 episodes (our opinion on this start of the series), The Equalizer has visibly convinced. It is the first new addition of the season to be renewed by CBS and that is because it delivers good audiences, aided by its launch following the last Super Bowl. Cumulatively, the first episodes attract almost 15 million viewers on average.

The remake of the series of years with Edward Woodward developed by Andrew W. Marlowe and Terri Edda Miller, The Equalizer offers us to follow Queen Latifah as Robyn McCall, a single mother with a mysterious past who helps strangers. The concept naturally remains the same and, once again, McCall has to deal with the occasional demands of his former employer to continue operating in the shadows.

At the distribution level, this first season of The Equalizer, therefore, centers on Queen Latifah who is surrounded by Chris Noth, Laya DeLeon Hayes, Lorraine Toussaint, Liza Lapira, Tory Kittles, and Adam Goldberg.
