At the end of this March, Netflix will return to Mexico for a new mystery series called Who Killed Sara? (Quién mató a Sara in its original version). All episodes will be uploaded to the streaming platform from March 24.
Creation by José Ignacio Valenzuela, Who killed Sara? is a thriller about Alex Guzmán who sets out on a quest for truths that will lift the veil on the darkest secrets of the Lazcano family.
Convicted of a crime he did not commit, Alex is released after 18 years behind bars. His only wish upon his release is to get revenge on Rodolfo Lazcano, the man responsible for the murder for which he has been charged. Things get complicated when Alex begins a relationship with Elisa, Rodolfo Lazcano’s youngest daughter, then discovers that the latter is innocent and that the real person responsible for his disgrace has remained in the dark all this time.
