The very first publication took place in February 2007 on the HERO-Sensei website. After 10 volumes, the most important story was completed, but secondary stories appeared, which can be printed to this day.
In October 2011, a manga called Horimiya was printed, which at the end of 2020 consisted of 15 volumes, and that’s not the limit. WHAT RELEASE DATE FOR SEASON 2 OF HORIMIYA ON WAKANIM?
The first season of Horimiya was released on January 10, 2021, and had 13 episodes before ending on April 4, 2021. Currently, no official renewal announcements have been made for Season 2 of Horimiya. While the anime only faithfully mimics the speed of manga, and such rapid development is one of the many aspects that makes Horimiya a healthy series to watch. It also allows the series to browse through its source material faster than a traditional anime adaptation.
The anime Horimiya caught up with the manga series, which ended with the release of Chapter 122 in March 2021. The final episode is largely an adaptation of Chapter 122, which describes the graduation day for students of the Katagiri high school. The anime skipped a lot of chapters of the original manga series. Given all of this, it’s safe to assume that there probably won’t be a Horimiya Season 2.
The good news for fans of the series is that there is still new Horimiya content on the horizon. As of this writing, two more OVAs are slated for May 2021 titled “Midsummer Day” and “A Kind Person”. Horimiya season 2 based on an original story may be produced in the future. However, at this time, it seems more likely that several more OVAs will be produced, rather than a full second season.
