We tell you all about the end of Into the Beat!
EXPLANATION OF THE END OF INTO THE BEAT?
Towards the end of Into the Beat, the Alien and Stargirl duo prepare body and soul for the Tigers audition. Felix reveals that a parental signature is required to validate the hearing form. Katya will seek to imitate the signature on her own, but as a desperately virtuous girl, she cannot bring herself to do so. She cancels the audition, and Marlon looks very upset. Katya’s father, a famous ballet dancer himself, seems to consider break dancing a minor art and tries to dissuade Katya from going to the audition.
Katya has devoted 15 years of her small life to ballet dancing, but when she meets the group of street dancers, an alluring world opens up to her. While she seems to have found her calling in hip-hop dance, not even her father can stop her from achieving her goals. Victor gives in to his daughter’s indomitable spirit and signs the form. He then goes to the audition and seems impressed with the duo’s performance.
Into the Beat ends smoothly. Katya and Marlon audition. Katya’s dad watches, the main character mixes her ballet experience with her newfound hip hop dance skills, resulting in a great routine with her and Marlon. Afterward, Marlon and Katya learn that they have been admitted to The Tigers.
