We have good news for fans of the anime who have waited several years between the first and second season! Announced even before Season 2 was released, World Trigger Season 3 has now been confirmed for its return later in October, as part of the Fall 2021 anime calendar in Japan. We don’t have an exact release date for World Trigger Season 3 yet, but we do know it will be October 2021!
WHAT CAN WE EXPECT FROM THE FOLLOWING?
Season 2 covers two main storylines of the manga series, Galopoula’s expedition to Earth to destroy Border’s expedition ship, and some of the first battles in the Tier B battles arc, which both began in the first season.
In World Trigger Season 3, Tamakoma 2 could fight Unit Kageura, Unit Azuma, and Suzunari First on their next turn. Hyuse could take part in this battle as the fourth member of Tamakoma 2 and significantly contribute to their victory. The team could then meet with the Ninomiya unit, the Ikoma unit, and the Yuba unit. After clearing all the obstacles, the team could join the expedition team to Aftokrator.
