But Evan is targeted by the villainous Bathurst, who wants to wipe out the human race to end what he believes is the curse of reincarnation. WHAT IS THE RELEASE DATE FOR INFINITE 2?
Infinite was released on June 10, 2021, on Paramount +. Neither Paramount executives nor the directors have yet made an official statement on the matter. There will be no shortage of material if producers decide to revisit the universe of “Infinite” for more content in the future. A new novel will be released by 2022.
At the end of the day, it all depends on Infinite’s business results. If the movie is successful, there may be a sequel to Infinite. And if that happens in the next few months, expect the Infinite 2 release date to be set for 2023
WHAT CAN WE EXPECT FROM THE INFINITE SUITE?
In Infinite, Evan successfully thwarted Bathurst’s plan to wipe out all life on Earth. Bathurst is killed by the Dethroner after being shot. Evan clings to the Egg and drowns in the ocean with it. He later reincarnates in Jakarta, Indonesia, where Artisan meets him and gives him one of his katanas. Nora frees Abel and all the other Infinites from Bathurst Digital Prison by blowing it up. After she and Abel reincarnate and awaken, they reunite in Angor Wat.
Given the rules set by Infinite, it would take a lot of creative quibbling for Mark Wahlberg to reprise his lead role in Infinite 2. However, that’s not entirely out of the question since it’s science fiction and everything is possible.
More likely, Infinite 2 could feature a new cast playing the reincarnated characters in the future, or it could be an entirely different group of Infinites set in the same world. It is also not known at this time whether Antoine Fuqua will return to direct Infinite 2.
