Sofia soon finds herself the target of the Avenger, who exchanges the pills in his bottle. It is then revealed that she did not actually swallow the pills and did so only to deceive the mysterious tormentor. The Avenger is revealed to be Alex, who blackmails Gerry and Ral into entering the school building late at night and forcing Gerry to produce an apology video. Seeing the messages online, Sofia and Javier rush to the school roof and try to calm Alex down.

While the situation is tense on the roof, Maria and her friend break into Luis's locker, where they are told that the attacker hid the stolen money from Raúl. The principal is shocked to see the dangerous face-to-face action being played out at the top of the school building and trying to control the situation.

However, a battle over the money bag soon erupts, and Susana and the money bag are thrown from the roof. The season ends when Pablo comes across the badly injured body of the school principal. He hastens to pick up the bag full of money that has fallen next to her and grabs it, leaving her bleeding on the sidewalk.

So, the avenger who has tormented the students at the school since Luis' death is ultimately revealed to be Alex. Her main goal, in tormenting and hurting students and faculty, was to make them feel as bad as her and not just to go on with their carefree lives without acknowledging the tragedy. She was also a fan of Luis's art, which is probably why she based her attacks on her drawings.

Even when Alex has the opportunity to kill Gerry, the boy directly responsible for Luis's death, she does not and conducts an online poll so that the student body as a whole can decide his fate. When an overwhelming majority of students vote in favor of killing Gerry, they still don't kill him but threaten to shoot him if he doesn't jump out of the school building. So Alex is not the vicious psychopath people expect from the Avenger, but simply a student who finds no outlet for his overwhelming pain and guilt.
