GoPro Hero 10 is expected to shoot in 5.3K

With the GoPro Hero 10 Black, the manufacturer wants above all to score points with better image quality. Movies in 5.3K resolution or 4K and 120 FPS should be included as well as high-resolution slow-motion recordings with 240 FPS.

At the camera manufacturer GoPro, it has long been fashionable to introduce a new model of action hero camera every year. So it's no surprise that almost a year after the Hero 9's release, the first GoPro Hero 10 Black leak has surfaced. The biggest innovation this year is expected to be the GP2 processor, as reported by WinFuture.

Film in 5.3K or up to 240 FPS

The processor should provide a noticeable improvement in picture and sound quality. With the additional computing power, 5.3K video recordings with up to 60 frames per second should be possible. In 4K resolution there would even be up to 120 FPS and in 2.7K even 240 FPS. This means that even high-res slow-motion videos shouldn't be a problem anymore.

The manufacturer promises a gimbal-type video stabilization of the Hypersmooth 4.0 function. In addition, there should be an automatic download function to get the video material recorded from the Internet as quickly as possible. The WinFuture article does not reveal what exactly is behind this.

The price and release date are still unknown

The GoPro Hero 10 Black is supposed to take photos with 23-megapixel resolution. In addition, the camera must be waterproof to a depth of 10 meters. However, the leak does not reveal when exactly the camera is expected to hit the market and at what price.
