Supergirl Season 6 went on hiatus last May on The CW after only 7 episodes. There are still 13 left before this final season is over. The time for farewells is therefore near since the broadcast resumes tonight on the American channel. Season 5 also arrives on Netflix on September 1,2021.
Previously in Supergirl season 6
When Supergirl Season 6 kicked off, Brainiac’s life was put in danger following an attempt on his part to stop Lex Luthor for good. Thanks to the Obsidian platform, Lex Luthor brainwashed half of the world’s population who was then completely devoted to him, no matter what he did. Lena decides to intervene to stop her brother, but Supergirl realizes that the only way to stop him is for her to sacrifice herself. She ends up being sent to the Phantom Zone where she must fight to survive, waiting for her friends to find a way to save her. In his absence, they must also deal with the various threats that keep surfacing.
And now…
This Season 6 resumes with Supergirl grappling with the consequences of spending time in the Phantom Zone, and she fears the fear she feels will never go away. With the series nearing its conclusion, an unparalleled danger emerges. Something is threatening to destroy Earth’s oceans, which could lead to a catastrophe similar to what happened on Krypton.
