WHAT IS THE RELEASE DATE FOR FOUNDATION SEASON 2 ON APPLE TV +?
The first season ended on November 19, 2021. As for Foundation season 2, fans will be delighted to learn that a second season of the sci-fi epic was approved in October 2021 by Apple. . Showrunner David S. Goyer revealed that he told Apple he was planning an 8-season story arc and even spent about two hours reviewing the 8 seasons with Apple representatives.
So, if all goes well, we can expect to see a lot more of Foundation in the years to come. We think the Foundation Season 2 release date should be set for the end of 2022 on Apple TV +!
WHAT CAN WE EXPECT FROM THE FOLLOWING? SPOILERS!
In an official press release, Goyer revealed that Foundation season 2 will introduce more complex worlds and characters from Asimov, including Hober Mallow, General Bel Riose, and All Outer Suns. So we can expect the already vast universe of Foundation to expand even further and possibly get even more complicated.
Themes of galactic chaos and psychohistory theory, which predicts events on a large scale, will likely continue to play a central role in the plot of Foundation season 2. Although it is not known exactly what time of year the following season will play out.
Hari Seldon can be expected to always pull the strings, given he plays a central role in Asimov’s books. It’s also almost certain that we’ll see more of the time Gaal and Salvor have together since they are reunited in the final moments of Season 1.
