Yellowjackets are a new Showtime series That talks about a championship high school soccer team that gets stranded in the wilderness while on their way to a national tournament in Seattle, Washington. The story is told from two perspectives, showing what happened to the teens and their coach during the 19 months they were stranded in 1996, as well as what is happening to the survivors in 2021.

Because Showtime is not taking a holiday break, a new episode of Yellowjackets will air on Sunday, December 26 at 10:00 p.m. ET, directly following a new episode of Dexter: New Blood. Episodes are also available on the app and website at 12:01 a.m. ET on the day they are released.

By the end of Yellowjackets episode 6, it is clear that Taissa wishes to leave the cabin and travel south in search of assistance. I’m guessing that decision will divide the group into two camps: those who stay and those who venture out to see what else is out there.
Taissa’s group may be embarking on a suicide mission, but with starvation looming, they don’t have much of a choice. In 2021, Shauna, Taissa, and Natalie devise a plan to apprehend the person who is blackmailing them for money. The preview also suggests that Shauna will have a confrontation with Adam. Perhaps we’ll finally learn the truth about him.
