Get Everything you need to know about White House Correspondents!
The White House Correspondents Dinner has returned after years of absence during the previous administration.
We’ve seen this event in the past be a star-studded affair, featuring an unusual mix of big-name celebrities, political figures, and television journalists. The term “Nerd Prom” was coined for a reason!
Tonight, however, you will witness some of the festivities in a more grandiose fashion, as President Biden is scheduled to make an appearance.
Not only that but a top-tier comedian in the form of Trevor Noah is expected to appear. Conan O’Brien, Cecily Strong, and Seth Meyers have previously hosted the event.

This can be a challenging room to work in, as you’re dealing with individuals who hold a diverse range of political views and are not accustomed to laughing on camera.
We cannot guarantee that every joke will land, but we can tell you that Biden’s speech is scheduled to begin at approximately 9:00 p.m. Eastern time, and we anticipate hearing from Noah shortly thereafter. (It’s been a busy few weeks for the host of The Daily Show, who also hosted the Grammys this year.)
We anticipate that the dinner will be broadcast on several cable news networks, though we tend to associate it most with C-SPAN; thus, our decision to feature them in the image above.
They frequently bear the brunt of jokes, but frequently take them on the chin. Biden should also brace himself for a barrage of jokes, though we’re not sure anyone will get it quite as much as they did during George W. Bush’s presidency when Stephen Colbert was brought on to provide entertainment — largely in his Colbert Report persona. That went about as expected.
