EXPLAINED SHE SEASONS 2 ENDING!
Back in the present, a coldly intimidated Bhumi tells Jason not to contact her again, and the ex-cop walks out of Bhumi’s lair, past his female soldiers armed with submachine guns.
Bhumi appears to have murdered his mentor and lover, Nayak, at the end of Season 2 of She. His bullet is fatal, and the enigmatic criminal is killed.
We see his body being thrown into the sea, which proves he is dead beyond doubt. Unlike before, when a doppelganger is killed and the real Nayak survives, this time Bhumi pulls the trigger, and it is the one and only Nayak who is killed.
It’s unclear when Bhumi decides to kill Nayak, and it’s possible she decided on the spur of the moment. Bhumi realizes that her time with Nayak, including their fiery romance, is likely over, and that their future is only death.
As a result, in the end, Bhumi kills Nayak for self-preservation. Whether it’s a split-second decision or a premeditated murder, she realizes that one of the two must die and murders her criminal lover.
Throughout Season 2, Bhumi struggles with her transformation from a police officer to a cold-blooded criminal under Nayak’s tutelage.
Over 70% of Nayak’s drug stash is apprehended by the police, implying that his drug syndicate is effectively destroyed with his death. So, by the end of Season 2, Nayak’s criminal empire has crumbled, while Bhumi appears to be on the rise.
