THIS WEEK, WHAT HAPPENED?
However, as Jimmy’s mission progresses, Larry will find it more difficult to break free from the prison. Even though his cover is jeopardized, Jimmy not only befriends Larry but also convinces him to reveal that he had kept a rag soaked in choke fluids to render the girls unconscious.
This revelation, along with Larry’s admission of having sex with women without caring, can be interpreted as Jimmy’s progress in his mission.
Larry’s revelation of the rag can also be interpreted as a stepping stone to his possible confession, as Jimmy can get him to tell him exactly what he did to those girls after knocking them out.
As Special Agent Lauren McCauley and Federal Attorney Edmund Beaumont fear, time is running out for Jimmy to obtain a confession from Larry before being released from prison.
Nonetheless, Jimmy and Larry become close enough for the alleged killer to reveal his secrets to his “new friend,” which allows Jimmy to extract a confession from Larry about the alleged murder of Tricia Reitler, as well as possibly many others.
