Baker, Blue Bloods For those who are unaware, Blue Bloods season 13 began filming last week, and we’re always happy to get more teases every time we can. Today, that means uncovering that Abigail Hawk has returned to the set!
In a new post on her Instagram account ( as you can see below), Hawk expresses her delight at returning as Abigail Baker.
The character is one of Frank’s key advisers, and we believe she is a fan favorite among non-Ronald Reagan family characters.
She’s shown a genuine devotion to Frank over the years, but she’s also been willing to challenge him if his perspective on a given subject is outdated or limited.
So, what can we expect from Baker in the future? We know she gets a couple of bigger storylines per season, and it would be nice to see more of her family outside of work.
Aside from that, we’d like to learn more about her time in the NYPD and see her use some skills she doesn’t always get to use at 1 Police Plaza.
The only reason we don’t see more of her is that this show has such a large cast — you have the Reagans, and so of course they will command more attention than anyone else.
Then there are characters like Baez and Anthony, who get a few major stories each season. We’ll take as much Baker as we can.
When Blue Bloods returns to CBS on Friday, October 7 at 10:00 p.m. Eastern, keep that date in mind. More information will be provided as it becomes available.
